It's a Ukrainian Christmas at the Old Mill Toronto!

January 7th, 2018 - Orthodox Christians celebrate Christmas day around the world and the Old Mill Toronto! Ukrainian Choir sings to special guest, Toronto Mayor, John Tory!

I had the honour of a portrait session with John Tory!


Chef Martin Buehner (centre) and his culinary team presented a selection of traditional Ukrainian Christmas dishes, such as; Assorted Salads and Platters of Pickled Beets, Pickled Mushrooms and Pickles, Buckwheat Kasha with Noodles, Pickled Herring, Smoked Trout and Smoked Salmon. Assorted Cold Cuts and Cheeses, Ukrainian Borsch and Garlic Bread, Cabbage Rolls, Kovbasa with Roasted Sauerkraut, Grilled Salmon Steaks with Tomato Dressing, Pork Patychky, Chicken Kiev, Carved Roast Beef, Carved Ontario Turkey, complemented with Roasted Red Potatoes and Root Vegetable Medley. Decadent Desserts such as; Ukranian Cheesecake, Poppy Roll, Honey Cake, and other Sweet Temptations.


If you've never been to the Old Mill Buffet, I encourage you to visit and eat and eat and eat! Tell Ammar, Valentyna and the reception team that I sent you!
